选C，怎么动词短语能直接做宾语呢？

根据主动优于被动原则，排除DE

根据all sb. do/did is/was do...（是省略to的不定式，见白勇语法P120）排除AB

最后选C 

A. leave, corral, to drive不平行

B. to leave, to corral, drive不平行

D/E 用被动 不如 A/B/C的主动 且E也不平行

所以答案C leave, corral, drive平行,前面有了to do，后面就省略了to

或者把三个to都补齐了，但是这里如果补齐逻辑意思就不对了，前面是the only thing，如果是to leave, to corral, and to drive就三件事了
