关于同位语的一道老题，新角度，求大神搭理

答案说More than 同位语修饰了20 percent。。

我的问题是1. 句子的主题是 More than 300 rivers draininto Siberia's Lake Baikal，（ which holds 20 percent of the world's fresh water）, more than all the North American Great Lakes combined.
同位语可以修饰which这个分句里面的东东吗？但是which 不是非限制性定语然后不是可以拿掉不看吗。
为什么more than还能修饰这个分句里的20 %？
2.既然是同位语修饰不是应该名词修饰名词吗，就算不是名词也应该是that 开始的名词性从句。。这里用More than是什么意思。

as many 是什么东东啊

1. 同位语作为名词修饰语，也是就近修饰，修饰最近的符合逻辑的名词。
理解为同位语的话是因为more的用法有很多种，可以做代词指代。
我觉得可以理解为which is more than XXX，但是这里应该不用which is仅仅表示一个状态，用adj-modifer就可以，即省略which is。

2. as many相当于指代原来的数，这题中就是4000。
as many后面不能单独接名词修饰。这里twice后面应该直接加上被比较名词。

谢谢大神，不过又有种说法是more than不是同位语而是修饰语。。。

Q1. 楼主理解语义就不会有这个疑问了
which修饰的是Lake Baikal，讲此湖的淡水量，more than五大湖的淡水量。
如果去掉which从句，句意变成Lake Baikal more than the Great Lacks，请问这里比较了什么？

Q2.划线部分应为there are fewer than one-quarter of 4000 drive-ins(as many指的是4000)
twice as many as常用来作比较

Q3.原句的意思为1914年共生产了469000辆cars and trcks，但1929年仅trucks的产量就是469000的两倍(that number指469000)
D选项as many指的不是469000，是1914年的trucks产量，我们不知道是多少，且改变了原意
