Parents are the first and the most important teachers to me in my life. I have been am so lucky as to live well with good parents, and have learned a lot from what they say said and what they dodid. During daily lives, parents can teach us knowledge of the world and how to do well with all kinds people. But in my view, parents are not the best teachers.花那么多笔墨铺垫，这个转折太强烈。

It is obvious that the love of parents always make them too prudential with their child’s activities. Emotionally, They may be usually too close to their child emotionally and always see their child through the eyes of a protector. For instance, they may prohibit their child from going out of home in name of safety. Sometimes going to bigger cities may be regarded as a valuable experience to a child, but his parents may think it is too dangerous to him.

Another problem is that parents always wish that their child have similar interests with them. They cannot realize that the difference between them is inevitable. For instance, some parents who like music may force their child to learn music instrument with no consideration of whether the child have has interest in it. Some parents who like science may try to persuade their child in learning science, but what if their child’s true love is art, writing or car repairing ?

Parents usuallly tend to pass on their value to their child. But there are amount of  changes in the world today, and maybe different generations have different ways of thinking. Children think their parents are always right in every respects when they are young, but while after they grow up and learn more from schools and from different kinds of person besides themtheir classcolleagues, bosses or even competitors, they may change their value and views of the world. For example, some parents, especially older ones, may find it difficult to keep pace of digital revolution, and cannot correcctly understand or value correcctly it.  

There is no denying that parents are greatly 这个副词好像只可以修饰动词crutial for the growth of their child, because they play a important role in their child’s growth. But in my opinion, they may be not the best teacher. For a child, their school teachers, their friends, their peers can teach them a lot. And a child can learn from books, newspapers, TV and other medias. All of these are valuable.
