我想,

though在这里是做副词，是虽然的意思

but作为连此引导两个并列的从句，就像"that...., and that..."，只不过这里两个从句有转折的意思，所以改用but

不像我们常见的，though,but都作连词，不能同在一个句子中

也就是双宾语的结构，+两个并列的定从

但是我有个问题：brought to 应该有问题，应该改成brought，因为是sb brought A sth这样构成双宾语的结构才对，为什么多了个to？这个to的存在可能造成“brought to。。。 ”是修饰词的感觉，而非动词。

我觉得应该是：

Puritan fanatics （主语）brought（谓语） to civil and military affairs（宾补）   a coolness of judgment and mutability of purpose（宾语） that some writers have though inconsistent with their religious zeal, but which was in fact a natural outgrowth of it.

此举位bring A to B的倒装：bring to B A（因为从coolness到句号为止都是A，太长，所以倒装了）

that...but which两个从句并列修饰a coolness of judgment and mutability of purpose

我的大全上确实是though，可能是打错了。但根据句意应该是thought。那就应该没问题了。

我之前的想法是把and看的很重：看成AND...AND....AND...从句,,,,不一致。。。。。

但是错误之处在于这样的结构没有be动词组成词组

我有疑问：

Puritan fanatics 是人，sb + -ed to B绝对有分词做定语的歧异

应该是sbA brought sbB sth这样才合理

如果非要bring to B A，也应该加个逗号，”brought to B，A“但是意思又不对
