被C和D这2个选项绊住了。觉得D中Which指代thromboxane也没有问题。如果通过平行判断的话，当然是C更优。

which的指代我也感觉没问题，
从语法上来看D似乎也对，但是那个 a substance to promote blood clotting ，这里 to do 读着略怪。

若从简洁角度考虑的话，同位语优于从句了
