put it more simple ...it is just a modhifier implying more information

B明显不对啦，and extended用了并列句，也就是与前面的was并列，这两者似乎没有什么并列的关系。。总觉得是不对的

E是做同位语，然后extending作状语修饰最近的主谓，都OK
