请教capability of doing

请教下各位大大，到底是capability of doing 是对的，还是capability to do？

应该是capability to do，GMAT认为Capability of doing是wordy的

tips：capability to do 不如 ability to do简洁，但是不可以就此判定错误

学习了...一直记成capability 也+ of doing,原来是capable+of doing ；capability to do啊

someone/something has the capability TO do (verb) something

not as common: someone/something has the capability of someone or something else (noun)

simple gerund is a noun （noun outside ， verb inside）

if u understand it is just a noun，how can adverb modify a noun？（A noun could be complex gerund or simple gerund）

请教capability of doing
