是什么意思？

疑问，CD2个选手OG上面说 them有指代 tourist的嫌疑。 但是E就没有这个嫌疑。
搜了网上的帖子，有说，这里E中修饰语中的代词（them）不能修饰另一个修饰语的名词，优先指代句子主语。所以不歧义。
但是D和E 的位置一样啊，都是修饰语中代词吧？？？？!!!为什么E就是没问题？？
