我想问的是，spending的逻辑主语很明显应该是doctor，但是doctor并不是主句的主语。

Spending less time with each other - 这其实是在修饰require doctors to see more patients的结果，所以可以这么用。一般-ing做modifier的时候，就是在修饰前面一整句以及强调结果
