		E) was an underground remnant of Earth's earliest days, having sporadically erupted 答案选A 请问： 1、我以为A里面的erupting是修饰前面句子的主语Geologists ，这个选项是错的。答案里面说是修饰前面整个句子，这个怎么判断？ 2、C选项里的which的指代，which是只能指代其前面紧邻的名词么？不能指代 "X of Y"结构里面的X？谢谢！

1.svo，doing——doing作为状语修饰语，一种情况是伴随状语（一定要观察主语是否可以发出doing这个动作）；一种是结果状语（不需要逻辑主语的检查），但都是修饰前面的句子
2.svo，doing——当前面的svo=主系表结构时，doing可以作为是对于S的nfo的补充修饰
3.其实C选项并不是which必须指代相邻的N，而是C错在which指代了前面的一句话，这是绝对不允许的。
