个人的一个小问题，关于B中OG解释中说for helping is awkward，不太理解是为什么？求解释

B若要正确，则应该为 thank her for helping THEM ACHIEVE THAT GOAL. 但比较于 thank her for such help，B则更为拖沓，所以不好。

另外前面的 aid to thank也不好，因为后面加TO DO就把前面的AID变成了动词。AID作为名词后面加 IN

自己查了一下灵格斯中的牛津和朗文，help作动词的时候可以做及物动词和非及物动词，但是给出的例句中多是help （sb）（to ）do/with等等的结构，真没有见到错误选项中把不及物的help作为动名词使用的，给出的例子中放在介词后面的基本都是help的名词形式，所以可不可以认为是一种用语习惯？

B若要正确，则应该为 thank her for helping THEM ACHIEVE THAT GOAL. 但比较于 thank her for such help，B则更为拖沓，所以不好。

另外前面的 aid to thank也不好，因为后面加TO DO就把前面的AID变成了动词。AID作为名词后面加 IN

同意，记得manhatton 有一段话就提到，假如有地方用到名词，名词本身（原生）优于动名词（衍生）。
