the only antecedent here is fish , if they and their refer to suppliers we should change the sentence into"suppliers are growing fish twice as fast as growing themselves" the analogy sentence is "she watched herself in the mirrow" not "she watched she in the mirrow"（from manhattan ron） so that is why we always say the same pronoun can refer to different nouns in one sentence
fish are growing without human's intervention. so we choose D"they grow natually" not growing them natually because "she watched she in the mirrow" is a correct sentence and the first she and the second she must refer to different people 同一代词在句子中指代同一名词这个规则从前对我来说根深蒂固 不过看了上述例子后我就想通了
