As people rely more on technology to solve the problems, the ability of humans to think for themselves will surly deteriorate.

Normally, people won’t prefer to calculate by their own brain if they can use a calculator, not to mention the computer or other technological products. But the relationship between technology and independent thinking ability should be concerned in different aspect. My analyze follows in two aspects.
Indeed, people are preferring to show their face of indolence when a man-made machine could finish the work which humans should do. For example, we go to work by driving cars, or do the laundry by using the washing machines, or even cook foods by pushing several buttons. Without these equipments, we might not be able to survive. Technologies provides us a more convenient life style on one hand, But on the other hand, it robs our ability to manipulate our own life away.
However, the situation would be totally different when it comes to the scientists who deliver the high-tech products and keep it works. The ability to think in an independent way is required in the whole process of their work. This particular working circumstance urged them to practice the independent thinking ability day after day. Thus, this ability would be the last thing that those workers gonna lose. For instance, the microscope enlightened us to observe the material world through a new point of view; the watch helps us to build an accurate concept about time, and make everything in order; the airplane takes us to the other side of the world,so we can experience a whole new culture. None of these keeps us from thinking in our own way, it’s a progress of creating a new life.
Finally, as far as I’m concerned, the accretion unfairly links the development of technology and the deteriorating of people’s independent thinking ability as the relationship of cause-and-effect. To evaluate this assertion, we should conceder more factors related to the welfare of human being. Everything has two sides of effects, so as technology. What’s more important is that technology is providing us a better life, it matters to both ordinary people and the scientists.
