我觉得：D是正确的，因为hundreds of…与thousands of…对称，而且causing与doing对称；as well as…那个就不清楚了

问题这里是 as well as...与and 在这里的区别？就单纯的as well as的重心在前面吗？就是那么当没有and时，as well as...也可以用吗？因为其他的选项都错的比较明显，所以是找更好的吗？就D!

as well as 是介词，不能加句子，A as well as b ，强调的是a。b不是语义重点。and前后重要性一样。这里主要是在语义上翻译。xx被指责引起几百挂掉，几千挂彩，同时被指责伤害娱乐地区。几百挂掉，几千挂彩明显要对仗的，伤害娱乐地区就不是重点了，正因为挂了那么多才伤害娱乐地区的，两个重要程度不一样。
而且个人还有个看法，就是前面有个and并列了，后面再来另一个层面上的并列，觉得让人读着不舒服。

B前半句不正确，injuring和那个hundreds of death不平行啊
