答案选择E。

我猜的。D有两个问题：1. 没缘故的修改原句的时态，从而改变了句意，从描述当前已经产生的结果变成了描述一种一般规律； 2. （我不太确定）that is not controlled应该是that are not controlled，因为前面是两种netting方法。

that is not controlled...和uncontrolled意思不一样吧。。。一个是主观上不去控制的，一个是不受控制的，D的意思有点违背原文，而且也有点繁琐！不如正确答案前后平行的结构好看！

deep-sea and coastal netting that is not controlled 这种表达读起来多不爽。

名词+that 从句的表达次于直接用形容词+名词的表达！！！

我开始对D也很有疑惑。我想不选D是因为D有歧义，如果选D，后面的by pollution, and by various other threats to the fish’s habitat有可能是用来修饰that is not controled的。

我不认为LS的说法可以作为一个评判标准，还是得具体问题具体分析。
