Oxford MFE和Columbia MFE, 希望大家帮忙选择

本来已经非常坚决的想去Oxford的master in financial economics, 连定金都已经交好了。但是现在又很犹豫要不要去美国，因为很喜欢纽约然后columbia离wall street又很近。因为不是很善于编程，觉得哥大的mfe会很难坚持下来（据说50%都是编程）。好纠结啊。。。希望大家给我一些建议。

Oxford这个项目也有很多很多编程，所以，去哥大吧。。。

It would be helpful to look into the course designs of these two programs. Their focuses are quite different if you wanna do ibd or portfolio management then ox is the way to go. It all boils down to your interested field and career path

fucker哥，谢谢呀，好久不见！牛津的我感觉还稍微少一点吧，只是matlab。哥大的一般的课程全是各种modeling啊c++啊，有点怕

I think you are right. I strongly prefer the course design in Oxford, but feel that Columbia is bit more hardcore. Besides, Columbia has a longer course available, meaning better exposure to the financial industry. I want to do a less quantitative job in the future, however, a quantitative background might be a value-add as well......

I think you've already had a preference so just follow your heart. The finance industry calls for blood and sweat whether it be quant or non quant. Good luck

Sorry cannot type Chinese right now. I would say more opportunities in the us right now. But I know less about Columbia mfe than you do cos I did not apply. Why not contact some current students
