5.20号托福，刚刚开始练习写作的部分（是不是有点晚了？）。第一篇是题库185里的第五十一题，贴上来求指教。平时作文水平不太高，现在心里超没底，求大家指教啊！
51.Some people believe that success in life comes from taking risks or chances. Others believe that success result from careful planning. In your opinion, what does success come from? Use specific reasons and example to support your answer.
Every day, it's not uncommon that someone got success via taking risks since there are numerous opportunities around us. However, risks lead to not only success but also failure. Careful planning is a brilliant strategy which can efficiently avoid blindness when people are taking risks. Therefore, the great marriage of taking risks and careful planning is my preference.
First of all, taking risks enables people to not miss chances. Time waits nobody, thus, “have a try” is the word people should always bear in mind. For instance, people, who run a big company, face choices at times. If they always have to consider of everything clearly, there’s no doubt that, their rivals have already taken all the chances. In this increasing competitive world, people compete with each other on resources, share of the market and so on. People can not afford the loss of missing opportunities. It will not only harm their companies’ profit, but also increase the possibility to lay off a lot of employees not so well-off as them. That’s why so many big company taking risks although it seems risky.
Competent company is the one which own the courage of taking risks as well as careful planning. In the case we mentioned before, without careful planning for the whole company including their future development, taking risks can cost people a lot. If they have no idea how to deal with chances grasped in their hand, it will be a far more serious disaster for their company. Careful planning is a good way to avoid this dilemma. Based on it, people are aware of what should they do when they are in the face of chances, also, after they’ve taken the opportunity. In addition, careful planning is a guarantee of promising companies which their customers, from whom their finance come form, can count on them
What really matters is the balance of taking risks and careful planning. Lacking of either one may cause a hazard in people’s business. Maybe it’s hard to do so, but we cannot deny that it’s doubtless a philosophy of success.
