A怎么不对,amout不对嘛?还有reason怎么用的?

amount只能修饰不可数名词，people一定要用number。

reason不可以和because连用，因为语意重复。鉴于此，偶觉得reason和for连用语意也重复。

一般reason (that)，that可省。

两个问题

1）A里的reason后面的that是作为同位语从句的引导词不可以省略吧？？？

我们可以说：

The reason she was ill(结果) was that she had eaten bad meat(原因).

而A里reason后面跟的同位语从句显然是解释原因的。。。

2）for the reason应该不会有问题吧？？？有固定搭配词组意思如下：

for no other reason than that  只是因为...
for reasons of  因为

提一下个人意见，关于这道题的3个重要考点

1. 在ETS中，关于表原因的连接词，有优先顺序的。in that > becasue > becasue of/for , for the reason > due to......

2. affect和effect的词性词义区别，表示影响时，affect是动词，effect是名词。

3。number和amount的区别，同意LES的意见。。。。
