此题的问题是关于THEM的指代问题，OG解释CD说THEM可能指代TOURISTS,那为什么E选项就没有这个可能了呢？？为什么E中的THEM 就一定指代的是CHAMBERS呢？？

非牛，交流下，从句的代词优先指代主句的主语是GMAC关于代词指代少数的几个原则之一，E刚好满足这个要求，them直接在because引导的从句里面。
反观D，这个我尝试解答啊，呵呵，them在that从句里面，与chambers之间隔了一层关系，优先指代moisture，但是这个是单数的，逻辑不成立，就有可能就近指代复数的tourists。
主要是D选项是从句的从句，E就简洁的多。
