求助：as比较结构的一道题

原题： the underlying physical principles that control the midair gryration of divers and gymnasts are the same as (those controlling the body orientation of)astronauts in a weightless environment.
括号的部分，是练习中的正确答案，但是我不理解为什么是controlling?
主句中的谓语是control,那么比较之后是不是也应该是those control呀？

A(noun) are the same as B(noun)
前面是名词答案controling修饰名字，如果是cotrol,后面变成句子，不对称了

可以使用the same ones吗？表示orientation controlling 用的pinciples与前者是同一组principle
