How old are you and which university, the EMBOA, are you in now?
I discover that your program is a one year program, is it full time or part time? Besides, your target PhD program is also important to answer your question.
I am 29. I am in Wright State University studying in an EMBA program between Shandong Government and WSU. This is a full-time one year program in executive format and we will get a MBA degree this December. I am now trying to locate some universities which have Finance PHD programs but not sure whether my background will support this. By the way, when I majored in English during my undergraduate study, I also studied advanced mathematics (calcus, linear algebra, and statistics) and western economics and got nice credits at that time. I do not know this will help. In my MBA program, I got A in all courses so far. Thank you very much...
please read some post during March to May 2004. Some successful applicants have posted their background here. I believe such infomation will be helpful for you to decide which school to choose, and get some sense on how competitive you are. Be persistent, and Good luck.
