(B) had expected and that its business would improve

(C) expected it would and that it will improve its business

(D) expected them to and its business would improve

(E) expected and that it will have improved its business

答案为B，但是不明白这个比较还原之后是什么样的？这到底是什么和什么在比较啊

其次这个有一个先后顺序，也就是公司业绩的增长比专家预计的要好，专家预计在前，增长在后，所以后面要用过去完成时，表示先后顺序
综上，选B

恩我能选出来但还有一点不明白的就是这个比较还原之后是什么样子的 profits declined much less than analysts had expected 应该是利润的下降和利润下降的预期比较，但是后面省略的太多我都不知道改怎么还原了

为什么可以这样省呢？省略主语和定语从句的引导词？我有看过前人的帖子有人说是省略了what

不对我好像又想明白了，我估计抽了，主语相同省略而定从后面的that在做宾语时是可以省略的所以最后就成了这个样子~
