想请问大家, C到底错在哪里呢? OG答案说irrelevant in assessing could be taken to mean either that the act of assessing the problems is irrelevant or that the question described is irrelevant in an assessment of the problems - 我觉得很明显irrelevant是在修饰question的，这里修饰没有歧义啊

如果说主谓不一致问题的话，那么D中也有错 - question in an assessment也是说question在assess...不是也不一致有错吗？

我感觉有这2中修辞，有歧义，不知道对不对

照这样理解的话， 那么你说的第二句就是run - on sentence（不完整）喽？

A.主谓搭配错

B. The question....is irrelevant in assessing the problems that they face.问题在于评估什么...

C.  A question... is whether they are better off materially than the urban working poor. 和原句的意思不一样了，原文说the question is irrelevant.

D.  In an assessment of the problems faced by rural migrant workers, the question of whether they are better off materially than the urban working poor is irrelevant. they 指代workers, 这边已经改成了被动语态faced by...

E. The question of whether the rural migrant worker is better off materially than the urban working poor is irrelevant in an assessment of the problems that they face. (they指代worker, 单复数不一致)
