答案是C, 但是句子最后的"as many as there were" 为什么不是"as many as there was"呢?

我想one microcomputer 可是单数啊? 哪个高手能指点一下?

1. AS MANY AS 暗示了用WERE.

2. 实际上是FOUR TIMES AS MANY AS THERE WERE (COMPUTERS) FOR PUPILS 的缩写

以上就是选C的原因.
