这道题答案选的B，我选的A。我觉得B不能使比较的两者完整，而且Proportion所要比的是half spending的花销，用it来代是可以的。

1中的B选项的compare主动形式错，物主语的比较只能是被动形式，因为ratio自己不会主动去跟别的ratio比。

2同位语从句比较，应该是两个名词的比较才平行，proportion跟it was ...是名词与句子之间的比较，B是说a greater proportion与proportion（in any previous election）比较，主语相同，可以省略。
