答案选的D 我不明白的就是这道题的哪个成份指出了这道题应该用现在完成时的呢？

umm... economists所反驳的是人们的hope，人们认为经济复苏了。而这个是现在正在发生的。

可是人们为什么有hope呢，是因为之前retail sales上涨了。因此，这个上涨是过去发生的，然后带来现在的结果是大家有hope了~然后基于此，economists又反驳了。。
