还有8天考试，今天练笔，30分钟写完，可能有错字。希望大家看看这是个什么程度的作文。 我选的是寂静上的一个题目。之前练了大约有12篇，不过都没有及时，这次及时了。望大家指正。看看能那多少分，或者下面应该怎样的改正。
Q:the best teachers are those who encourage the students to challenge popular ideas rather than accepting popular ideas.
A:
It has been a controversy that how should teacher conduct students in face of popular ideas in the society. Some contend that the best teacher should encourage students to challenge the idea that was widely accepted in the society. In my opinion, encouraging student not to blindly accpet what they were told is the a very important value of educiation, however, it's not to say challenge everything, especially the foundmental vaules of our society.
First of all, the educiation is to teach and conduct student how to think rather than to force them accpet whatever has been written on the textbook. Thus encouaging students to challenge popular thoughts could prompt them analysis the value first before blindly accept. And that's what a good teacher should take into concern when conduct educiation. For instance, in face of a idea, teacher should provide tools or ways that student could use to analyze and evaluate. It is believed that by doing so, student will be equiped with skills to solove the problem by themselves. Failure to do so, the education will produce robots rather than humanbeings, that can only follow the direction provided by others.
Second,the popular idea is not always right, even if sometimes, the idea may post negative impact to students who are normally relative young and dont have enough life experience. Thus to encourage student evaluate or even challenge the demoniating ideas will benefit them by avoiding following the wrong trend. For example, in china, we are observaing a lot of young people try to be famous-over-the-night, by posting their half-naked pictures or annoying statements to catch the public attention.Unfortunately, such ideas has win wide populairty especially among teenagers. In such case, teacher should encouage students to challenge it in a way of conducting them how to think rather than simply forbid them to follow.
Third, a line should be drawn between questionable,temporary thougts and the ever-last core values of our society before teach subject the topic to student. Teacher naturally carry the responsibility to help student distinguilish what is wrong and what is right. For instance, teacher should tell student firmly that stealing, in any form, is not toleranted in our society's value, even it bring soome quick money.
To sum, a good teacher should encouge and direct student to challenge popular thoughts in the society. From the aspect of education, it's probably the best way to teach them how to think independly. However, it's not to say, student can question any value of the society, again, it's a teach's responsibility, not necessary of the best teach to draw the line between what can do and what can not. |
