I chose E, because the meaning seems easier to understand. Then why B?

注意把握句子结构

E选项变成有两个动词，而且无连词

B选项表示前面发生的理论这件事造成的影响

应该是feed而不是horse吧。

ETS很注重句子的逻辑, 任何选项随意把句子的意思改变都是不对的.
正如E, 用了WHEN而强调了时间, 而原文强调的是因果,所以E不对!

看了另一个同主题的帖子. 发现a的问题了.

这里by pursuading...并不是resore的补语, 而是修饰market equil...所以错了.

是不是被动语态的by xxx一定要放在动词后面,不可以放在前面?
