此题答案选B，我就纳闷了，不是说比较双方要对等么，但这里 personal spending和1.4 percent growth rate哪里对等了？求牛牛解答。
还有OG说D答案没有technically wrong，但是我觉得D中的doubling就有语法错误，doubling是修饰personal spending的，修饰词的时和主句的时态一致，那么这里doubling实际就是过去时态，不符合逻辑。不知道大家是怎么看的。

1、这题并不是比较结构，more than相当于一个修饰语副词，去掉之后不影响句子结构；关键就落在double上。

我大概翻译一下吧：
8月份零售销售额增长了0.8%，这加强了预期，即（在8月份零售额增长0。8%的背景下，）7-9月该季度的个人消费有可能是以前季度个人消费的1.4%增长率的两倍（个人理解，即达到2.8%）。

2、“修饰词的时和主句的时态一致”这种说法第一次听，所以不好发表评论。个人觉得，doubling能表达出将来的意思，逻辑意思上是符合的。

倒是我觉得后面的that of中的that没有指代，that唯一能指的是personal spending，这和后面的in personal spending重复了。

这里double是动词。more than是副词，修饰double的，表示【多于两倍】

所以整个句子是一个【主谓宾】的表达~

记得前人好像讨论过这个句子，搜索一下~
