OG12-SC-102:

the answer is A

问一下，可能很白痴，但是OG上没有提到：BC中的where难道可以修饰clans吗？clans 是一群人啊。。

1.不明白怎么不是一群人哇？部落就是由若干血缘相近的综族组成的集体。不是由人组成还有其他东西吗？还需要包括里面的等级制度，生活用具什么的呀？
2.再请解释一下clans不能说就是某个地方吧？怎么能用where修饰呢？A中用whose修饰说明就算不是人也是个物啊。

但是有时候似乎也没有那么严格区分人和食物。比如我们也能够理解如果说 New York State whose tax rate is above the average. 这里New York State并不是人，但用whose修饰。

我同意你说的whose修饰词的时候区分不那么严格，但是我觉得这应该不适用与where——至少在这里我认为不适用。

OG对于错误选项的解释么有那么精确，你看大多数”awkward“混过去的，不必纠结
