Require/Advise用法总结

CD22-14-1出现了advise的用法跟XDF讲的定理V+O+that的用法一定错相冲突。下面就把常考到的require和advise的用法总结一下。

Require和Advise都有要求的意思，所以常用的用法自然有

1. Require/Advise somebody to do something

Require/Advise后面接不定式

引申一下：

1) Be required to do something

2) you would be ill/well advised to do something （比较少见, tell somebody it is wise or unwise to do something）

2. Require/Advise + 动词原形的虚拟语气

Require/Advise + that + 虚拟语气

3. Require的特殊用法
    

Require of somebody that + 虚拟语气

4. Advise的特殊用法

1) advise当要求讲，tell somebody you think they should do something

Advise somebody against (doing) something

e.g. I'd advise you against saying anything to the press.

2) advise当建议讲

Advise (somebody) on something

e.g. He advises us on tax matters.

3) advise当告诉/通知讲

A. Advise somebody of something

e.g. We'll advise you of any changes in the delivery dates.

B. Advise somebody that (不用虚拟语气)

e.g. They advised him that the tour would proceed.
