就there be谓语就近原则的一个提问，OG似乎反对就近？

The adjective little modifies "mass nouns" (e.g., water), which refer to some undifferentiated quantity; the adjective few modifies "count nouns" (e.g., services), which refer to groups made up of distinct members that can be considered individually. Hence, choices A, B, and D are incorrect because little cannot properly modify services.Also, since water and services are being discussed as a pair, they should logically be treated as a compound subject requiring a plural verb; thus, the singular verbs exists (in B and C) and is (in D) are wrong. Choice E is best: the plural verb are is used, and few correctly modifies services.

我的疑问在于OG-V10给出的解释，认为D中的is用法也是错误的，那么就近原则是不对的吗？

D中用is是没错，关键是后面的services不能用little修饰

现在OG 12里没再说D中的is是错误的了。但是我想弄清楚一点，there be 后面的就近原则是什么样子的？

做题的时候没看见其他的例子。

另外，还有一个点，OG说 little water 和 fewer services 之间应该用and 而非or的原因是
Logically, the areas described would suffer from both little water and few services at the same time, so the correct conjunction is and.

我怎么就觉得little water 和fewer services因为都是否定（因为都没有），应该是or连接？不知道我表达清楚没有，就是既没有A也没有B，所以用or啊。举个有点像的例子(OG 12 No. 17)：

17. The commission has directed advertisers to restrict the use of the word “natural” to foods that do not contain color or ?avor additives, chemical preservatives, or nothing that has been synthesized.
(A) or nothing that has been
(B) or that has been
(C) and nothing that is
(D) or anything that has been (D)
(E) and anything

Logically, a “natural” food cannot contain any prohibited ingredient, so the list of prohibited ingredients must be connected by or.

是不是说用 there be 谓语就进原则的话

there is little available water and few services

or 我觉得是因为句子中出现了 can not
但是 there are few services and little available water 是个肯定句，所以用了and

如果你把这句话硬是用上 or，我觉得是 there aren't services or available water

但是

就there be谓语就近原则的一个提问，OG似乎反对就近？
