困惑！关于OG里关于指代的矛盾！

正确答案：D) Long before itwas fashionable to be an expatriate, Josephine Baker made Paris her home

OG25里 it不可能指代scholars，scholars的宾语a sketchy picture从逻辑和语法上也是it的指代对象
而OG52里，同样句首提到it，往后看JB的宾语Paris，即it的指代对象
先不管其他的语法错误，我的疑惑是， OG25为什么认为it指代不清，而OG52就不觉得it指代不清呢？

it 不会造成指代a sketchy picture 或者 anall-female cult 的歧义么

好像是这样的：Basingiton various ancient writers accounts，scholarshave painted
你看，很明显basing的逻辑主语和语法主语都是scholarshave，因此，it 优先指代主句主语 scholarshave，那就变成了S basing S,逻辑错误。因此很明显，it按顺序指代宾语，这样出现了指代歧义~

我觉得不对啊，你看OG52那句，JB那个人同样是在句首啊，和OG25那道的位置一样的吖，而且，basing的逻辑主语是scholars
不一定后面的It也是scholars啊.
OG25里虽然scholars是主语优先指代，但是it指代的是物，所以明显a sketchy的指代性就很强嘛！

可是相对于a sketchy， cult 是修饰它的介词宾语啊介词宾语的指代性最弱了。。

本来应该是Long before to be an expatriate was fashionable
不定式在GMAT不能当subject，因此加个it，
Do not look for a noun antecedent for a Placeholder It.

5楼说得对阿好巧啊昨天我也在想楼主说得第2个it为什么对后来我搜了好多gmat的论坛发现一个说得挺有道理的第2个it是做后面的不定式 to be an expatriate的形式主语这是一种习惯用法

是的我也是后面才明白这里it是形式宾语不过就因为这里也不指代PARIS 总觉得这句话有点怪怪的哈哈
