正文: What we often seein a biography or a movie is a young adult leaves his/her parents to live alonein order to be independent and to better fulfill his/her dream. Some may thinkit as cool because young adults like this appearing in books and movies often endedup in success. What we didn’t see was the failed ones. Should youngadults live alone as soon as possible or stay longer with their families? That’sa difficult question and the answers can change according to different people. Inthe following paragraphs, I will demonstrate my view in two parts. As a young adultas myself, I often get a strong feeling of being independent. Just havingbecome a junior and being about to enter the society, I’d like to make decisionmyself for everything. Sometimes, I refuse to listen to my parents because Iwant to prove my ability to handle things. Living alone is the idea which justfit my thought. What’s more, being independent can also help develop my socialskills, for example, I had to pay fees for electricity and I’ll get accustomedto this process. Also, I will get a chance to furnish and decorate myapartment. I will make it a fairyland. It seemed thatbeing independent can’t be better for me, but why am I still live with parents?Well, being independent can also incur disadvantages. Imagine you have to dolaundry and cleanings all by your own, even when you are filled with schoolstuffs. You have to cook meals. Still, I can’t cook anything but instant food.Safety is another problem. Living alone means your parents spending more timebeing worried. And for young adults come from poor family, living with parentscan save money from renting a house. Considering allthe advantages and disadvantages of being independent, young adults reallyshould think twice before giving your answers. If you think you are not readyto deal with all the things accompany with living alone, you’d better stay withyou family for a longer time. |
