为什么so as to marry 不对呢？
og解释如下：So as to marry is not idiomatically correct; it does not identify who will marry.
可是我觉得我能明显知道主语是King Henry VIII 啊

有人能帮我解释一下吗？谢谢！

答案是不是D啊？这里有歧义啊，因为so as to离King Henry VIII太远了，而比较靠近的是Queen Catherine，所以会令人误解是不是他跟她离婚，为了使她能够另外结婚（虽然后面Anne是女名）。而且真的觉得so as to marry读起来很别扭。

思路; 习语： X happened so that y could happen;
A : so as to 一般只用在单一的主系表结构中；用在这里句子逻辑不清晰，henry sought to have his marriage to Catherine annulled so as to ….不知道是为了谁可以娶anne

B; so that +情态动词表目的，但so +情态动词表结果，henry废除婚姻结果娶了anne，不合逻辑；语法上 and so 两个连词，后面需要两个动词，所以也错

C: 这里应该用in order to be married 作目的状语，to be 有当Catherine定语的嫌疑； marry的意思是：嫁；娶；与…结婚，to be married显得罗嗦，直接to marry就可以

D bingo: X happened so that y could happen ; 一般出现so that 格外关注哦，这里又一个正确的

E：习语： in order to do； in order that错误； would 表示将会发生的事情，带有一定的确定性，而原意只是表达一种可能性。

总结：
1.Helping Verb不能随便替换 (即may, will, must, should, can等词不要随意替换，它们各自传达了不同的obligation) 要根据逻辑来判断使用哪个词
2.在句中，若有可以达到相同意思的主谓结构，(且句子较为复杂时)优先主谓结构，舍弃to do或介宾结构==> 因为后两者需要判断逻辑主语。
3.只需知道 so as to 一般用在简单的主系表结构中即可

b选项的 and so您说是俩连词，想问下怎么感觉so是作指代上文henry seek to have his marriage annulled这件事，而不能以这件事为basis来marry anne boleyn，逻辑不对所以错误。所以，个人认为so不是连词，而是adv指代之前事件。

而对og所言，b选项是ungrammatical and illogical，既然这样ungrammatical是指哪里呢？

当然也可能是我错了。=。=
