我选的是D，不懂D错在哪里了，为什么一定要加定冠词呢？

1 vanish 是不及物动词，即不能用被动，所以还原到装， are vanished 的不对。
2 living creatures that appeared on Earth ，appear 用过去式，不对，用过去式代表现在它们已经消失了，appear 发生在过去，但是 living creatures 中有 1%的是没有消失的，所以用have appeared 正确、
要用the 是因为 of 的结构是特指这个群体中有多少的消失，另外你看后面的that 定语从句在修饰这个群体，说明一定是特指，所以必须加the。

额，是我的眼花了，D 中the 要加的原因我说了哈，另外后面的of them 重复了，前面已经说了.Of the five hundred million different species ，那么已经限定了 99%的范围了，所以of them 多余。

原来D的错误点有两个那么多，刚开始读的时候还蛮顺眼的。
结果还是有细枝末节的语法点没有弄通，哎，得继续努力啊~
