句子使用了虚拟语气，有什么省略的语法规定么？因为 “ Were it not for the fusion-powered heat and radiation that rush from its core, a star would collapse under its own weight." 是两个句子，怎么没有连词连接两个句子呢？我选的是B。

经典的虚拟语气倒装，完整的句子是If it were not for the fusion-powered heat and radiation……，if是连接词，倒装后省略了，所以没有语法问题。

从句用were，主句用would，表对“现在”或“将来”的虚拟。
