此外，Known as好像是以。。闻名的意思，这里应该用不上。。。

我觉得应该选A吧。这题和我昨天作的一题很像：

A的话,觉得have had brains不太对,因为the Neanderthals在被known 前有这种brain,在known之后也还是有这样的brains呀.所以我觉得have had不妥.

C的话,觉得the Neanderthals有那样的brains是客观事实,所以觉得C中的brains that were也不妥...
