而且我还不明白为甚么主句用过去式，passed，比较从句用 will 呢？这不是违背了比较结构时态一致的原则？有谁能解答下呢？

这句话的意思是 在关于X comet的研究中发现comet过去出现时与地球的距离balabla，与下次出现是一样”根据意思就懂了哈

不对啊~这题目好像是把the comet Crommelin 和Halley's comet 之间进行比较啊~不是the comet Crommelin 自己与以前和以后的时间作比较吧~
