C错因为Despite
D错因为Being
B错因为 as ..... as
请问为什么A错了呢？
根据平行并列，应该是C错了才对啊。因为 he is extremely modest and will not publish his poetry, and前后的时态都不一样啊。而且A没有任何语法错误吧？
请大家指教

我认为A没有语法上的错误，但是整个句子读起来零零散散，最后两句主语也发生了变换。而且根据A的逻辑来看，he is extremely modest 和 his poetry is unpublished几乎没有什么逻辑关系。
