这道题的正选是C。我想问的是after falling 如果是状语从句省略的话，从句谓语应该是be啊，我感觉这道题里从句部分谓语动词不应该是be。跪求大家来解释，百思不得其解~~

什么状语从句省略哦。。。就是after doing的搭配撒。。。

状语从句的省略应该不管after和before什么事，看白勇书上写的，适用于，
when, while, if, unless, although, even though, even if+形容词/现在分词/-ed分词（注意，不适用于+介词/名词短语）

She fell asleep while (she was) doing her homework. 她在做作业时睡着了。

He kept silent when (he was) asked why he was late. 问他为什么迟到，他一言不发。

Although (it was) built 100 years ago, the bridge is very strong. 虽然建于100年前，但这桥还是很牢固。

不过白勇书上说不能有when+介词短语的情况。。。我记得不是有句话叫When in doubt, don't吗。。。
