正确答案，也就是原句，protect copyright holders and foil the many audio pirates 的主语是standardized way，并且整个that部分作为定语从句出现

而E将这种主从修饰关系改成了并列。
it不能有效地指代standardized way，因为and前后是两个完整句子的并列，standardized way在宾语位置，后面又有单数名词，代词指代很弱。
