Chicago vs. NYU with 50% tuition waive?

原来被芝加哥waitlist了以后就没抱太大希望，于是也就没作努力，准备一门心思去NYU了。昨天接到芝加哥的信，说了一些鼓励的话以及通知我被re-waitlist 了。我知道其实被take off waitlist的机会并不太大，但心里又起了思想斗争。不知是否该积极争取get off waitlist。我已经交了NYU的定金。Personally I really like NYU and think I'm a better fit there, 但是希望听一下局外人的意见：Stern和Chicago有很大差距吗？我的方向是finance.

Stern finance is already among the best. What's more, NYC is absolutely the wonderful place for finance. If you also prefer finance practice, go Stern!

My 2 cents: 1, Generally speaking, Stern finance is as good as Chicago. Stern is good at pratcie and Chicago is good at theory. 2, If you have gotten Stern offer and only was waitinglisted by Chicago, Stern should be a wise choice.

NYU is great for the finance people, otherwise you will pay the fine for waiting for a school who just waitlisted you, see they waitlist dozens of people and do not care your pianful waitings. Besides, NYU is as good as GSB in finance.
