我发邮件问过UC Berkeley的Admissions Director 作文4.5分会有负面影响吗？她这样回复的：
The score is slightly low. You can submit your application with the scores you have and then simply let us know when you plan on retaking the exam.

如果等于4.5与大于4.5没有区别，那让5分，5.5分和6分的同学们情何以堪。

你要不再发封邮件，问问他再考的话，作文需要考到几分才可以。我估计这个坛子里，很多5和5.5的同学也开始有点担心了……
