连词后面是不是一定要跟句子？？？

正解是A。OG对C的解释是although后面要连接一个完整的句子，而这里缺少主语，且sighted也不是一个完整的动词。那我就不明白了，A选项里but也是一个连词，照理说but后面也应该跟一个完整的句子才对啊，可是这里but后面不是也没有主语吗，为什么A就正确了呢？？？

从句中，主语是Sunspots，与主句主语一致，可以省略。C选项中，sighted想表达与S被动关系，作为谓语需要在前面加上be才行，否则不能作为谓语动词。另外，原句中并没有让步的意思，只是单纯的平行关系。
