答案是e，c为什么不对啊？画线部分应该修饰local times，e好象有歧异，determined by ~~可以理解成修饰growth，疑惑！

第二个were的省略错，第一个were是被动语态的aux v，第二个were是过去完成时的aux v，风马牛不相及，怎么能省略第二个were呢？而且深究下来C的后半部分是which （were） differing，时态不对。
