可能就对了
或者

表达同样数量，同时表明是现在正在读医科的学生，这两点来看，确实是B最好。

由于比较的是可数名词的数量，即男女的数量，那么要用as many as 结构最好，排除 A的equivalent, D的great, E的equal, 你选E，equal一般修饰不可数名词的数量，答案在BC之间，个人认为：C太罗嗦，且currently enrolled in medical school与前面的enrollment statistics published by U.S. medical schools重复，这个比较忌讳，剩B，对于B对于as many as 的用法我学的还不到家，只能解释到这。

number 一般是说as great as ,而不是as many as ~
