OG里解释A里的比较对象错误，将price和 a year ago进行比较。但是 than前面不是有个 now 吗？这里看成是 now 和 a year ago比较不对吗？

比较词是‘higher’，两个时间不能用higher比较吧？

这里比较对象是prices和pirces比较，而不是prices和年份比较，也不是年份和年份的比较。

又看了一下，之前好像说错了，不好意思。

higher now than a year ago我觉得没有根本上的问题，主要问题是在后半句。

另外，如果深究的话，B也并不完美。Prices at the producer level are only 1.3 percent higher now than those of a year ago and are going down, even though floods in the Midwest and drought in the South are hurting crops and therefore raising。这两个比较的也不完全工整。我觉得最工整的是

Prices at the producer level now are only 1.3 percent higher than those of a year ago and are going down, even though floods in the Midwest and drought in the South are hurting crops and therefore raising

所以，我觉得OA的答案对于时间这点的说明是有问题的。最终答案的取舍更主要来自于后半句。
