一道OG改错，个人认为答案是错的！

因为有and she，这题的主语肯定是Josephine Baker，所以只剩下C和D，我选了C，虽然D（OG正确答案）看起来更简洁，但是，我觉得it不能指代人吧，如果是指代Paris，语义不对。求解答，谢谢！

But C is wrong as well, it sounds like: Josephine baker was fashioable

'made paris her home long before to be an expatriate ' describe Josephine

You can not make some place home before you are an expat to that place. C is definetely wrong.

'It' does not represent the person. It means to be an expatriate

To be an expatriate was fashionable

这里面it 是placeholder.
you should never look for the antecedent in these situations.
e.g. It is happy to stay the whole afternoon with you.

plus, OG is OFFICIAL guide, all the answers in it are correct.

这里IT是形式主语。。。指代后面的真正主语不定式。。参见曼哈顿语法
