其中“it was the antipodes”的antipodes是复数，it was是单数，怎么就能在一起用呢？
还有一个问题，“the opposite pole to civilization”和“an obscure and unimaginable place that was considered the end of the world”分别是什么成分啊？ 我感觉前者是插入语成分，后者是同位语成分，可再仔细看看好像两个都是同位语成分，到底应该是怎样啊？
